Materials:    Fabio(1)

                    Needle-#11

Gauge:        2 st.=1 inch in garter stitch

Cast on 3 stitches.

Row 1 – K1, M1, K1, M1, K1

Row 2 – K5

Row 3 – K1, M1, K3, M1, K1

Row 4 – K7

Continue as est. on Rows 1 and 2 – M1 after the 1^st stitch and before the last stitch on every other row until 15 sts.

When piece measures 26 inches, K8 sts, place remainder on a holder, k 12 rows on the 8 sts, place these sts on a holder and return 7 sts to needle.  K1, M1, knit to the end (8 sts).  Knit 12 rows.  On 12^th row, continue on rejoining sts on holder and at the same time knit middle 2 sts together (15 sts).  Work 3 inches more in garter stitch.

Row 1 – K1, K2 tog, knit to last 3 sts,

K2

tog ( through back loop), K1

Row 2 – knit all sts.

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until 3 sts remain.  Bind off.
