    Quick Knit!!

I finished the market bag from the kit!!  It was a quick knit and I think it may be a good idea for Christmas gifts filled with wine, crackers, cheese or whatever.  Also, the kit came with 500 yards of cotton and I needed less that 250 yards for one bag.

After work yesterday, Erland came over for some dinner.  She started eating a little solid food at lunch and was ready to try a little chicken and mashed potatoes-she's trying 6 little meals a day.  I was pleased to see her wearing the poncho I made her last summer-the only momknit she wears all the time is her Clapotis.  Here she is in the poncho and the market bag I sent home with her filled with some bland Ukrop's food.

Hope she can fill up on the linguine and chicken cobbler!

Today I'm cleaning and working on my new sweater.  Tuesday when Erland was in the hospital I visited the Yarn Lounge and decided to do a little stress yarn buying.  I ended up with some wonderful Cashsoft to make this.

         Such soft, pretty yarn!!!!!!!

What a great week-on Wednesday Liz and I went toHolly Spring so Liz could get 2 skeins of Bamboo to make the shawl that Stephanie sent me the pattern for.  Wow, Stephanie, that's THREE of my knitting friends making that shawl.  We love it.

Very cute bag! Can you share your pattern source? I have some kitchen cotton in my stash that would be perfecto! :)
